Even in today’s modern society, a doctor is considered a God since he saves lives. Saving even a single person’s life is a divine act and the doctors save so many patients’ lives and treat them until they’re fit and healthy.

The yearly income of any doctor, say of MBBS, BAMS, or any other degree, is sky-high. Despite treating so many patients, some doctors reach the pinnacle of wealth while others lag behind. Why this might be so even if there are similar skills built in? Why does not the influx of money flow to some doctors?
A doctor’s specialty and the effectiveness of a cure make him famous among other doctors. Patients are likely to seek him first. Is this just a trait or the infinite blessing of Lord Dhanvantari, the god of health? Statistically, many learned and highly educated doctors built their clinics and hospitals obeying Vaastu-shastra. A correct establishment would make a doctor gain success, fame, and wealth.

Many commoners who are literate, still do not believe in the magnificence of Vaastu-shastra. However, even scholarly doctors build their clinics on the basis of Vaastu-shastra and strongly believe in its noteworthiness. When patients exclaim about a doctor’s excellence at rehabilitation, it is actually the vaastu of the hospital that is exemplary and upstanding.

Lord Dhanvantri, ‘physician of the gods’ is the bestower of health, brightness, and prosperity. Hence, Dhanvantri, who appears from the churning of Amrit with an ‘Amrit Kalash’, is the progenitor of ‘vaidya’ i.e. doctors. Knowing the precise location of Lord Dhanvantri, and establishing it after performing the necessary rituals (‘prana prathishtapna ’), the blessing of Dhanvantri vouchsafes upon the structure of the hospital.

The hospital entrance must be in the South-east but if the entrance cannot be built architecturally, a virtual entry can be created as per the doctor’s bird chart. If the head doctor positions his seat westwards between the deities of Pushpandanta and Varunadevta, then according to the attributes of the deities, the patient's purpose can served with fulfillment. Bhujangadevta is present in the North-east direction, hence it is advised to make the receptionist’s desk and the pharmaceutical counters in that direction.
