Introduction of Zone & Their Specific Attributes

In Vedic Science, the attributes of a zone, and the activities performed in the zones are prescribed. The zones are adapted from Vedic Vastu-Shastra after repeated scientific observations, applications, and experiences; studies have been modified to fit contemporary architecture.

The 360 degrees are divided into 16 equal divisions of 22.5 degrees each, each part is known as Vastu zone and governs a particular aspect of life.
The directions, as seen are North, North-Northeast, Northeast, East-northeast, East, East-southeast, Southeast, South-southeast, South, South-southwest, Southwest, West-southwest, West, West-northwest, Northwest, and North-northwest. The core of the power inherent in any Devta is the power of Brahma.

We inculcate analyses of Vastu shastra on how to construct buildings, houses, or amenities, where the directional characteristics are satisfied and all the elements are balanced.

A home is a sanctuary where one can relax after a long, hectic day at work. One popular saying is ‘home is where the heart is’. It is where you can relax, recharge, and feel a sense of belonging. The simple moments of being home with loved ones, or unwinding bring comfort and peace. To define a house, it is the perfect escape from the demands of the outside world.

Every home is constructed differently yet ensures that it aligns with the principles of Vastu. The placement and allocation of materials in houses are according to the ‘Patrika/Kundli’ of the head of the family.

Vastu shastra is an ancient Indian science of architecture. The study focuses on harmonizing living spaces with nature to enhance the occupant’s well-being, prosperity, and happiness. Vastu Shastra offers several benefits like:

1. Prosperity & Wealth

A Vastu home cultivates smooth cash flow, encouraging wealth and richness. As a valuable asset, it can provide financial power and opportunities for further investments. Correct placement of rooms like the kitchen, main entrance, and workplace as per vastu shastra can attract wealth and provide economic stability. This generates a positive flow of energy in the house.

2. Education

Directionally aligned, designated study areas improve academic performance. This can lead to better career opportunities and success in professional life.

3. Health & Well Being

Aerated, luminous rooms and optimal room placement help the physical health of the residents. In some cases, it brings calm and helps in overcoming anxiety.

4. Relationship & Harmony

Fire represents energy, transformation, and willpower. Fire is associated with the sense of sight. It governs digestion, body temperature, and energy levels. A balanced fire element ensures proper digestion, metabolic rate, and vitality. It also helps in pursuing goals with determination and enthusiasm.

5. Spiritual Growth

Spaces designed for spiritual activities, like a Pooja room, are more effective when aligned with cosmic principles.

6. Balanced Energy

Ensuring the ‘panchabhutas’ are balanced in the house invites peace and contentment to the residents.

All the five elements must balance with each other. Imbalances can lead to physical issues, emotional distress, mental confusion, and spiritual disconnection. These elements can be in equilibrium by practicing Yoga and Ayurveda. Another method that can profoundly affect the equilibrium of the five elements is the cardinal location of the infrastructure. Here, we take our knowledge from Vastu Shastra.
